Remember: You are not 14 anymore.

I wonder how long it has been since any of you have been in a situation that you couldn’t handle on your own. A good few years I would expect, unless you have been gravely misfortunate.

Maybe when you were 14, you thought it was O.K. to turn someone in as opposed to suffering for your own wrong doings; I imagine this was also seen as O.K. by the others around you. Everyone is happy to accept a scapegoat, because they can all use it. Or maybe, you fall into another category, where it would be easy to turn trouble away from yourself, by spreading trouble over another through a rumour with little truth to it, and again, maybe you thought this was O.K. because everyone around you was doing the same thing. Maybe you feel you were not like this at all, maybe you were beyond these petty teenage disputes; good for you, I always preferred a liar.

Maybe, just maybe it’s time for some of you to grow up. These things aren’t accepted by everyone around you and people are smarted than they were four, or five years ago, communication skills have been developed and most people have a better sense of morality. People are happier to fight through their problems themselves and strive towards the, generally agreed, right thing.

It seems odd then, to find that some people can’t remember how old they are. You are verging on adult-hood! There are petty young people who still find the best way to get out of their own faeces is found in pulling someone else into it. Unfortunately for such people, the others around them are not so easily deceived to the rumours and lies that pour out of such persons’ mouths, and if they are unsure they are willing to discuss it out with others until a proper and correct judgement is made.

I hope you enjoy wallowing in your own filth.
